TapIn is a local shopping community that enables customers to order through their favourite neighbourhood stores or streamers at lower prices with reduced delivery fees and receive everything in ONE BOX. The goal is to help customers save money, make money and have fun.

Problems & Solutions

- Identifying Problems

Despite advances in logistics and E-commerce, timely delivery and seamless shopping experience with local businesses is a major pain. Due to COVID-19, more and more people choose online shopping to avoid close contact. However, there are some pain points that cause consumers difficulties to shop online & locally.

• Limited Choices & Bundling Options

When ordering from local businesses online, customers are limited to order products from one store. Most local and neighborhood stores often do not have online ordering at all.

• Unsatisfying Delivery Experience

Customers have high expectation that local businesses cannot keep up, like flexible delivery time slots, order tracking, message notification, etc. Local delivery needs improvement in comparison to on-demand delivery (Uber Eats) and conventional shipping (Amazon).

• High Cost

Products could be pricy, and there is no option for consumers to group buying for cheaper price. A lot of smaller businesses either do not offer delivery altogether or ask for ridiculous high delivery fee.

• Limited Acquisition of Product Information

For most online shoppers, they know little about the products they haven't tried, like taste, functionality, appearance, size, etc.

• Flexible Delivery Options

“2-hour to 2-day”delivery optionfills the missing piece between on-demand delivery (uberEat) and conventional shipping (Amazon).

• Group Buying with Cheaper Price

PINTA! - pooled purchase allows consumers to buy their favourite products with cheaper prices.

• Live Streaming

Allows customers to know more about the products they are not familiar with, also have the opportunity of becoming streamers with potential to earn full-time equivalent income through TapIn.
